TEMPLES TOUR OF SOUTH INDIA
Day 1:
On arrival at CHENNAI International Airport assisted transfer to Pre - booked RESORT at Mahabalipuarm . Rest of the day free to relax OR go for sight seeing of Mahabalipuarm. Overnight at Resort.
Day 2:MAHABALIPURAM - KANCHEEPURAM- MAHABALIPURAM
After breakfast drive to Kancheepuram for full day sight seeing. Later back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3:MAHABALIPURAM - PONDICHERRY
Early morning for darshan and later drive to Pondicherry for and on arrival check in Pre - booked hotel . Overnight at hotel.
Day 4:PONDICHERRY - TANJORE
After breakfast drive to Tanjore. En route visit Gangaikondacholapuram and Darasuram. Continue to Tanjore and on arrival check in at Pre - booked hotel . Overnight at hotel.
Day 5:TANJORE - TRICHY
Morning sight seeing of Tanjore, including Brhedeswara temple, Museum. Lunch at Tanjore and later drive to Trichy. On arrival check in at Pre - booked hotel . Overnight at hotel.
Day 6:TRICHY
After breakfast go for sight seeing of Trichy including Srirangam, the temple complex and later to visit the Rock Fort temple, the main land mark of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7:TRICHY - RAMESWARAM
After breakfast drive to Rameswaram and on arrival check in at Pre - booked hotel. Visit temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8:RAMESWARAM - MADURAI
After breakfast leave for Madurai, the 2000 year old capital of the Pandayan Kings, and check into Pre - booked hotel. Afternoon sightseeing includes Meenakshi Temple, perhaps the grandest display of Dravidian architecture. It has gigantic "gopurams" or gateways, profusely carved, the tallest reaching 160ft. Evening to visit the temple to watch pray ceremony. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9:MADURAI - KANYAKUMARI
After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari, arrive Kanayakumari, check in pre - booked hotel. Enjoy sun set view. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10:KANYAKUMAIRI - KOVALAM
After breakfast drive to Kovalam. En route visit Kanyakumari, the Southern tip of India, Kanyakumari temple, Padmanabhapuram palace, the magnificent wooden palace constructed by the Travancore Maharajas. Continue to Kovalam and check in at Pre - booked hotel . Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: KOVALAM
Full day free to relax by the beach OR make a trip to Trivandrum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12:KOVALAM - ALLEPPY
After breakfast drive to Alleppy. Check in pre - booked HOUSE BOAT. Enjoy back water retreat. Overnight stay at House Boat
Day 13:KOVALAM - KOCHI
After breakfast drive to Chenganasserry and enjoys 3 hrs cruise to Allepepy and on arrival at Allepepy drive to Kochi and check in at pre - booked hotel. Evening to witness kathakali dance, the dance drama of Kerala. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14:KOCHI - GURUVAYOOR
Kochi is the palm green commercial capital of Kerala and also known as the queen of Arabian sea. Morning for sight seeing of Kochi including St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. Later drive to Guruvayoor, known as the Dwaraka of South. On arrival check in at Pre - booked hotel. Evening to visit the temple, elephant stable…etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15:GURUVAYOOR - PALANI - COIMBATORE
After breakfast drive to Palanai hills to visit the temple. Later drive to Coimbatore and on arrival check in at Pre - booked hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16:COIMBATORE - OOTY
Early morning transfer to Mettupalayam Railway station to catch Toy train to Ooty, The Journey through the Nilgiri hills is an pleasant and unforgettable experience. On arrival transfer to pre - booked hotel,Afternoon free to explore the hills. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17:OOTY
Ooty is known as one of the best hill resort of South India and the whole hills looks dramatic as it is covered with blue hills )R Nilgiri hills. Today you will go for full day sight seeing of Ooty including the Botanical garden, Dodda village…etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18:OOTY - MYSORE
After breakfast drive to Mysore, known as the Palace city of South India. Capital of a former princely state, Mysore is a city of palaces and gardens which is famous for its silk, sandalwood and jasmine. On arrival check in at pre - booked hotel. Rest of the day free to go around in the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 19:MYSORE
After breakfast go for sight seeing of Mysore including Chamundi Hill, Maharaja's Palace, Railway Museum and Devaraja Market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 20:MYSORE - HASSAN
After breakfast drive to Hassan and on arrival check in at pre booked hotel. Afternoon to visit Belur and Haledid. Later back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 21:HASSAN - BANGLORE
